4th of July BBQ Marinade Recipes

Many self proclaimed BBQ experts will tell you that the marinade is the key to creating a remarkable BBQ. The following marinade recipes will help you concoct a 4th of July BBQ that will leave people agreeing that you too are a BBQ expert.

48 Chicken Marinade
Steak Marinade
1 Cup Olive Oil
½ Cup Soy Sauce
1/3 Cup Red Wine Vinegar
¼ Cup Lemon Juice
3 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
1 Tablespoon Pepper
2 Tablespoons Brown Mustard
1 Chopped Onion
1 Clove Minced Garlic

Chicken Marinade
1 Cup Olive Oil
½ Cup Soy Sauce
Juice of 4 Lemons
¼ Cup Mustard
¼ Cup Chopped Parsley
¼ Cup Chopped Chives
½ Cup Fresh (or 1 Tablespoon Dried) Sage, Oregano and Thyme
1 Clove Minced Garlic

Salmon/Fish Marinade
¼ Cup Peanut Oil
½ Teaspoon Sesame Oil
2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
2 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
2 Tablespoons Sliced Scallions
1 ½ Teaspoons Brown Sugar
¾ Teaspoon Ground Ginger
½ Teaspoon Red Pepper
1/8 Teaspoon Salt
1 Clove Minced Garlic

Always do your marinating in the refrigerator and if you’re then using that same sauce to baste during cooking, don’t use it during the last few minutes of cooking because the sauce may have some remaining bacteria from the raw meat.
